Wavin - Interface design
Intuitiveness is extremely important in the design of any user interface. Most users start working with a device as soon as they take it out of the box and ignore the instructions. If an explanation is needed to understand the operation, the new user will quickly become irritated. With this in mind, Centagon developed the user interface for a new Wavin thermostat.
The user interface guides the user step by step through the routines of the smart device, including the use of clear icons. The starting point was to continuously display only the information relevant at that moment; the art of omission.
This minimalist approach led to a result that far exceeded expectations and contributed to the successful launch of the thermostat.
